Purition, the whole food nutrition brand, has joined forces with plant-powered soup brand Soul Kitchen in a strategic move to shake up the instant food market.
With a shared passion for real food, simple nutrition, and championing UK challenger brands, this collaboration is set to make a major impact in 2025 and beyond.
Commenting on the partnership, Purition founder, Edward Taylor, said: “This is a really exciting time for both Purition and Soul Kitchen. As part of the agreement, I will join Soul Kitchen as a business partner, while Purition takes on all manufacturing of Soul Kitchen’s instant soups.”
This move allows Soul Kitchen founder, Bella Acland to focus on scaling the brand and driving new business, while ensuring the soups continue to deliver on taste, nutrition, and convenience – without compromise.
“This partnership marks a new era for Soul Kitchen,” said Bella Acland, Soul Kitchen’s founder. “With Purition’s expertise in whole food nutrition and premium manufacturing, we have in our sights on rapidly scaling our direct-to-consumer (DTC) presence while expanding into key retail, health food, and food service sectors – including travel and offices.
“It’s the perfect alignment of brands committed to authentic, high-quality, minimally processed ingredients.”
As part of this evolution, Soul Kitchen’s instant soups have been optimised to be even more nutritious – with significantly higher vegetable content and none of the unnecessary additives commonly found in traditional instant soups.
The goal is to re-invent cup soup and become the market leader in healthier instant hot snacking for convenience without compromise.
“Having direct access to Purition’s skilled team, NPD kitchen, and cutting-edge manufacturing site means we can scale with total control over quality, authenticity, and innovation,” said Bella. “This partnership allows us to move fast, adapt to consumer needs, and continue delivering the best-tasting, most nutritious instant soups on the market.”
