Snoop Dogg expands wine range in UK

Cali by Snoop, the wine brand by Treasury Wine Estates and Cali’s own Snoop Dogg is expanding their portfolio with the launch of their brand-new Cali Blanc into the UK.

Cali by Snoop’s Cali Blanc is a Sauvignon Blanc which is fresh and fruity, with pear drop and tropical notes of honeydew melon, alongside an elderflower finish.

Created in collaboration with globally recognised innovator Snoop Dogg, the brand challenges the convention of wine with a unique narrative and sense of personality, underpinned by the wines’ approachability and suitability for consumption occasions inspired by Snoop’s west coast lifestyle.

Cali Blanc is Snoop Dogg’s first move into the white wine category, following the successful launch of the Cali by Snoop Cali Red in 2022, and the Cali Rosé in 2023. The launch of Cali Blanc will be supported by an integrated marketing campaign across the UK which will include a series of in-store activations, out of home, PR and digital activations to drive significant momentum for the launch.

Cali by Snoop Creator Snoop Dogg said: “After the success of Cali Red and Cali Rose it was only natural to bring Cali Blanc to my fans in the UK. Chilled or over ice, it’s that perfect option for the summertime.”

Russell Kirkham, Head of Regional Marketing EMEA Treasury Premium Brands, said: “We are delighted to be expanding the Cali by Snoop portfolio and continuing our partnership with music icon Snoop Dogg.

“Snoop has been a brilliant collaborator and brought our Cali by Snoop brand to the next level with the expansion of his Cali Collection, so adding a white wine to the range was the natural next step for us as a brand. We couldn’t be more excited to introduce Snoop Cali Blanc into the UK and I have no doubt that Cali Blanc will be a huge hit with fans of Snoop Dogg.”

The brand will also be utilising augmented reality technology, with consumers invited to ‘Ask the Doggfather’ by following a QR code on the back label where the D.O.G.G. will respond to their questions.
