Noble Foods adopts pollinator monitoring tech to enhance biodiversity

Noble Foods has become the first UK egg producer to implement bio-acoustic technology for monitoring pollinators on its Purely Organic farms. The company is partnering with AgriSound to use its Polly monitoring system, which tracks bee activity in real time to assess biodiversity and support sustainability efforts.

The two-year pilot will measure pollinator numbers across different farm habitats and evaluate the impact of land management practices. The company also expands biodiversity initiatives, including planting wildflower meadows, enhancing hedgerows, and creating nesting sites for birds and invertebrates.

The data collected will help Noble Foods refine its environmental strategies and support future regulatory compliance. If successful, the technology could be rolled out across the company’s broader supply chain.
