Captain Morgan and Pepsi MAX come together to create pre-mix drink

Captain Morgan, the spiced rum brand, and Pepsi MAX, the cola, have come together to create a pre-mix drink.

The pairing of these two iconic brands blends Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold’s sweet and spiced notes with the crisp, cool taste of Pepsi Max to create a smooth flavour in a convenient pre-mixed can, with an ABV of 5%.

Available exclusively in Great Britain, Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold and Pepsi Max will hit shelves nationwide and are available now.

Eleanor Morgan, Marketing Manager GB, at Captain Morgan, said: “With a shared emphasis on fun, our partnership with Pepsi MAX brings together two iconic brands to create one epic taste. Both brands have strong taste credentials and bring their own distinctive flavour profile to the mix, creating the ultimate duo that’s been expertly blended to deliver a great taste.”

Natalia Filippociants, General Manager Beverages at PepsiCo UK, added: “At PepsiCo, we’re always looking for new opportunities to meet our consumers’ changing tastes and demands by bringing new, innovative products to market. Captain Morgan and Pepsi MAX share passionate fan bases who crave great taste, making it the perfect partnership to bring Pepsi MAX into the ready-to-drink alcoholic beverage category for the first time. Together, we’re creating a premium, iconic blend of flavours fans know and love that will mix up the category and give fans what they want.”

The new Captain Morgan Pepsi MAX ready-to-drink can has an ABV of 5% and will be available in various formats including a 330ml can, a 250ml slimline can and a multipack of 6x 250ml cans. Initially launching in Tesco, Sainsburys, Morrisons, Asda, convenience stores and wholesalers, the 330ml premixed cans have an RRP of £2.59.
